Did you know that on average, 25% of the cost of new construction for single-family homes comes from excessive regulations?
With housing inventory at all time lows in most of the US markets, the federal government proposes a new executive order.
Executive Order: Emergency Price Relief
Over the past four years, rising costs have burdened American families—fuel, food, housing, healthcare, and more. A new Executive Order directs all agencies to take immediate action to restore affordability and purchasing power by:
• Lowering Housing Costs – Cutting excessive regulations that drive up home prices and expanding supply.
• Reducing Healthcare Expenses – Eliminating unnecessary administrative costs and rent-seeking practices.
• Cutting Appliance Costs – Removing counterproductive regulations that make home essentials more expensive.
• Creating More Jobs – Encouraging workforce participation and expanding employment opportunities.
• Ending Costly Climate Policies – Stopping regulations that artificially increase food and fuel prices.
